  Always friendly. Great meat department, they called me to tell me that the type of meat I requested was in. No one ever calls me from a grocery store anymore. Fresh vegetables and fruit with a great selection.

  A little info on Star Market a good selection of most items and about the best selection of alcohol and wines I have seen in any grocery store and in fact better than most liquor stores. This added to the fact that Victor, (the owner), has a very strong knowledge base of every bottle the store carries in stock. Along with this the entire staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. They have the freshest produce and meats of any store in Salinas. They also have sampler cups of different flavors of gourmet coffee.
